Flower Clown started when in 1984 when his Mom (Betty Bee The Clown) got him a unicycle from the Middlefield Monday Auction. In college, Flower started working at Power Play in the Flats. He watched a mime making balloons. Flower went to John's Fun House on East 185 and bought his first bag of balloons. At that point Flower taught himself how to make flowers, dogs and swords. For the next 8 years he made balloons for family and friends. After a year in Asia, Flower returned to the States and Power Play where he met another clown. Flower learned very quickly how to make other animals out of balloons to the point he was teaching the other clown new balloons in just under a month. After three short years of dressing like a clown and working in the Flats making balloons and doing parties, Flower quit his electronic job to become a full time clown. You can see Flower Clown live and in person on Thursday nights at Tommy’s on Coventry.
