Helen Liggett specializes in photographing the everyday. She enjoys sharing the excitement of close observation and creative geometry that making images brings. Her images, photo/texts, and installations have been exhibited in Cleveland and at national and international venues, including the Harare International Festival for the Arts and as part of the Art in the Embassies Program. Recent works include “The Hands Project” (Summer 2007), photographic sequences of the hands of people who work with their hands and “Let All God’s People Say Amen”, a five-year collaborative project with Morning Star Baptist Church in Cleveland (shown Feb-Mar 2008 at Heights Arts Studio).
