Dear Friends,
Holiday Store sales up, Walmart sales down. What
does that say about our community ? You support
the arts in your neighborhood, you treasure your
neighbors who are artists, you have faith in what
HeightsArts is doing to fulfill the potential of the arts
to transform community life in the Heights and
beyond. (See James Levin's vision for the arts in
Cleveland in Sunday's PD)
If you are on our snail mail list, you recently received
a request to contribute to our Annual Fund. As a
nonprofit organization, HeightsArts is dependent upon
foundation grants, fundraising events, and sales for
our existence. But mostly we are dependent upon
you and your individual contribution. Please take a
moment and make a tax-deductible contribution to
HeightsArts, either via credit card (click here) or
send a check to HeightsArts, 2163 Lee Road #104,
Cleveland Heights, Ohio 44118.
Whether you live in Cleveland Heights, University
Heights, Shaker Heights, or no Heights; whether you
shop at the
Holiday Store; attend gallery exhibitions and free
summer concerts; smile when you pass the
imaginative fences on Coventry Road or murals at
Cedar-Fairmount and Cedar-Lee; enthuse about the
Poet Laureate project; enjoy the spring children's
art show at City Hall; anticipate Sculpture in the
Heights at Severance Town Center; or connect to
the arts through this online newsletter, HeightsArts
exists because of your support. Thank you. And
Happy Holidaze.
