The Heights, Naturally
Panels

The fences surrounding the Lee Road library construction (on Lee between Ormond and Dellwood) display the result of a collaboration of the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes, the Heights library system, and HeightsArts. Artist Crystal Birns coordinated the painting of 4'x4' plywood panels to enhance the "orange barrel" streetscape with images of nature. People of all ages and talents designed and painted the panels, which were installed Sunday, August 28.
