The Heights, Naturally
The
fences surrounding the
Lee Road library
construction (on Lee between Ormond and Dellwood)
display the result of a collaboration of the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes, the Heights library system,
and HeightsArts.
Artist Crystal Birns coordinated the
painting of 4'x4' plywood panels to enhance the
"orange barrel" streetscape with images of nature.
People of
all ages and talents designed and painted the panels,
which were installed Sunday, August 28.
A third sculpture placed at Severance
Barry
Gunderson's "Cloudburst" has been installed in
the planter in front of Office Max at Severance Town
Centre. This is the third of eight sculptures to be
installed for the Sculpture in the Heights exhibit.
