Kassaba @ Nighttown
Saturday, June 25 at 9:00 pm. Admission $10

The group features piano, saxophones, bass and 25 percussion instruments, creating the effect of a drummer by moving around to the various instruments. The original compositions resonate like jazz, classical and even a little rock with some world music influence.

Because of their versatility, they have played in jazz and rock clubs, along with museums and galleries. Their CD "Zones" has aired on several nationally syndicated radio programs in the U.S. and Canada. Recent performances took place in Upper Arlington, Ohio, at the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Kassaba also has an upcoming show at Kavehaz, a jazz club in New York City.
