We extend our condolences to the family of Joseph Turkaly, an artist who lived in Cleveland Heights and passed away this week. His neighbor, Mark Majewski, had this to say: He was a sculptor and long time art teacher. The bronze in his yard, 'Immigrant
Mother', is a prominent feature of our neighborhood. He had just begun
work on a new sculpture in cherry wood in his back yard. I had the pleasure of
discussing it with him and his son, Tom, just this past weekend.
