Follow the Coventry Road
Friday, June
1 10 a.m.
and 7 p.m. Coventry Elementary School, Washington Boulevard
Coventry Elementary School invites you to attend an
all-school end-of-the-year play entitled Follow the Coventry Road, inspired by The
Wizard of Oz and The Wiz. Follow Dorothy as she is swept
away by a twister to Coventry Road and the school she has heard so much about
from her Auntie Em. At Coventry, she learns about the school's
history and meets the Wooden Boat, Peace Arch and Squirrel. Together they ease
on down the road and discover that Coventry offers a rainbow of opportunities
and that Coventry's motto of "Peace, Love, Respect for All" is a
message we can take wherever we go.
Students
have worked with their music teacher, Ms. Grant-Hughes, to learn songs they'll
sing, and with art teachers Ms. Connelly & Ms. Wachhaus to create costumes
for the play. Kulture Kids, Northeast Ohio's leading provider of multicultural arts programs for
schools and businesses, wrote, directed and produced the play, working with
children in all grades. For more
information, contact CoventrySchool, 216-371-7110.

Wish List
Heights
Arts Gallery has been open since April, 2003, and we think it's time to
upgrade from clamp lights to a track lighting system At the same
time,we'd like to install a couple of ceiling fans and buy a new desk
and chairs. You can guess the only obstacle: money.
Can you help us raise $5000 for the gallery by donating to our Re-Light
the Gallery Fund? We would for sure thank all donors with a
de-lightful party when we turn on the new lights. You can donate here,
or mail a check to Heights Arts, 2163 Lee Road #104, Cleveland Heights,
Ohio 44118. Your donation is tax-deductible, and greatly
appreciated.
