Alphabet
Several galleries have opening receptions this Friday night, including ours:

6 to 9 p.m.
Heights Arts Studio
2340 Lee Road, west side of library bridge

We have just put on display alphabet books from the Cleveland Institute of Art's amazing collection of artist books, selected by Library Director Cris Rom.  Visual artist Kate Kern, who has completed a residency at the Studio, will be on hand to talk about her installation created collaboratively with workshop participants.  We are also displaying (and offering for sale) original ink drawings by Gary Dumm, American Splendor illustrator, and prints by Laura Dumm.  And, browse and buy books by local book artists, and meet the artists as well Friday and throughout the weekend during our Joy of Text Festival.  Check out the schedule here.

So come and immerse yourself in the joy of text!  See you Friday night.  And plan your evening around other receptions:
