RECEPTION FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 6-9 Heights Arts Gallery 2173 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights (a few steps from the Cedar Lee Theatre)
This week, artist Masha Rysin from Rochester, NY, is creating an installation at Heights Arts Gallery as a part of the upcoming Layers collage exhibition. Lynn O'Brien and Margaret Yuko Kimura have organized an unconventional exhibition that pushes the boundaries of collage.

also on opening night, music in the minipark with Busboy-Matt LeSueur on saxaphone and Travis Stewart on bass.
Stewart
and LeSueur have been collaborating for over 6 years creating original
jazz compositions spanning the genres of jazz, hip-hop, and rock.

With your personal favorite and most intriguing found objects and
materials create your own toy and/or sculptural object. Prior to the
first class collect and bring with you found materials such as scrap
metal, i.e. various cans (aluminum, steel), wood etc. Basic metal
fabrication techniques such as folding, bending, cutting, wiring, slot
and tab, riveting and pop riveting will be introduced, or create your
own connective devices to construct your objects. Please bring an open
mind, a sense of fun and a little patience as we explore the
