Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.

Blue Streak EnsembleWe welcome Cleveland-based contemporary chamber group Blue Streak Ensemble to their first community performance in the Heights Arts gallery!

The Blue Streak Ensemble was founded in 2011 by award-winning composer Margaret Brouwer to bring contemporary chamber music to Ohio communities along Lake Erie. They achieved immediate success and quickly began to expand performances in and around Cleveland, as well as throughout Virginia, Wisconsin, and New York City. Blue Streak was featured on the Naxos American Classics CD titled Shattered, Chamber Music of Margaret Brouwer. Featuring Brouwer’s music and the music of other fine living composers, BSE has been dedicated to presenting concerts with an eclectic array of the latest, most expressive and exciting new music.
