Drawn Together
EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
AND THE VERNACULAR OF THE HEART
OPENING RECEPTION March 9, 6-9 pm
March 9 – April 22
Please join us for a community opening reception of an exhibition that explores the Buddhist concept of Brahma-Viharas, also known as the Four Divine Emotions; loving-kindness (metta), compassion (karuna), vicarious or sympathetic joy (mudita), and equanimity (upekkha).
We have invited four local artists; John Carlson, Suzanne Head, Tony Ingrisano, and Dana Oldfather to each create three drawings based on a divine emotion and its corresponding near and far enemies.
As always, we look forward to seeing you!
Josh Werling, Curator
