Cleveland jewelry designer Valerie Tyler draws upon cultural influences from around the world to make sterling silver or brass pieces that are meaningful, inspirational or symbolic. Techniques used in creation include fold-forming, forging, riveting, chasing, stamping and oxidation to achieve a rustic, almost vintage inspired style. Valerie especially loves the look of distressed metal. Pieces are often textured or slightly sculptural and created through a good old fashioned handmade work ethic with quality workmanship.
