Heights Youth Club Mosaic Project

Heights Youth Club Mosaic Project resulted in a 90 square foot glass mosaic mural installed on the exterior of the club’s building in the Cedar Lee business district.  This partnership was made possible through an Ohio Arts Council Artist in Residence Grant and the generosity of several local foundations.  Artist August Bordelois guided the club members ages 6 – 18 through the process of designing and fabricating the mural.  The mosaic project enriched students’ after school experience and enlivened the Lee Road streetscape with a lasting piece of public art.
