April Visual Artist of the Month – Pat Isenstadt

What started as a hobby turned into a passion. My handmade line of greeting cards is called Precious Greetings. I use stamps, dies, various inks, and I use wet and dry embossing techniques to make my cards. I also have a second line of cards called Vintage Visions. They are vintage fashion illustrations from the late 1950s. They were created by my mother-in-law, Shirley Isenstadt, from her days working as an illustrator at Bailey’s department store and printed for the store newspaper ads. We did not want these works lost to time so we decided to re-print and sell her illustrations as greeting cards and journals.
