For the month of September, our visual artist of the month is Leslie Greenhalgh.  Leslie Greenhalgh’s professional career was as a Nurse Practitioner.  Her creativity was inspired by her mother who was an artist and crafter.  She has been a working fiber artist for over 20 years.  Some of her work has been exhibited at numerous local art festivals and also galleries in Florida, Georgia, Vermont and New York.  The designs are inspired by colors and textures of the fibers.  Her creations are all fun and also functional for daily use and she hopes to bring joy to those who use the items.
