Classical Revolution Cleveland: Gallery Concert

Saturday, July 27, 2019, 7–8PM

Join us to hear this classical music collective in our exhibition space at our last gallery concert. FREE and open to the public, completed with complimentary refreshments and a cash bar.

Music that spans centuries can still speak to audiences today, anywhere and in any way. That belief is at the core of Classical Revolution Cleveland, a collective of loosely-based professional musicians from all over northeast Ohio. Since an offshoot of the original San Francisco chapter formed in 2009, Classical Revolution Cleveland has been in continuous operation in Cleveland for more than a decade, giving hundreds of free, public performances throughout northeast Ohio.
Beyond their monthly bar shows, CRC musicians appear in performances at galleries, community centers, assisted living facilities, and community festivals. Their JOIN concert series, founded in 2017, brings music to crisis and homeless shelters and juvenile detention centers throughout the year. Their performances have been featured on Ideastream radio and television outlets, as well as in the Cleveland Visitor’s Guide and the New York Times, among others.
Classical Revolution Cleveland’s upcoming appearance at Heights Arts highlights music by northeast Ohio composer/performer Buck McDaniel, as well as music by other 20th and 21st century composers.
