Al Fuchs is a Cleveland native and has spent most of his life here. He attended Bowling Green State University and graduated in 1983 with a degree in Photojournalism, and he then worked at newspapers around the country until 1993. Fuchs moved back to Cleveland in 1993 and began doing commercial work, but he continued to produce personal work.

“The work I have shown in galleries is an offshoot of the photojournalistic work I have been doing for publications and clients since college. I truly love what I do. I’ve been fortunate to be able to make my living as a professional photographer.”

Fuchs has shown work at various galleries in Cleveland and Pittsburgh and has work included in private and corporate collections. He has resided in Lakewood since returning to Cleveland.
