In my collection, I put a lot of energy into the work and focus on the repetitive and meditative processes of making it. Repetition in my work is very prominent and has become an energy release for me in my practice. The certain pattern repetitions can make people feel a certain way and for others create other experiences. My intention with my visuals in the work is to use contrasting colors and line work to make the viewer’s eye bounce around the piece and have a vibration on the work as a whole.

Music is a huge influence in my work because the sensation that music gives sometimes cannot be explained until listening to it. This impression can range from feeling heightened or feeling completely down. My inspiration comes from listening. Which then translates that feeling into an image, the expressed the abstract experience of listening to music.
