Eileen Ryan Ewen is a locally based artist and illustrator. Trained in traditional mediums, Eileen originally worked with oil paints. She now primarily works in the children’s book industry as an illustrator, with her medium of choice being watercolor. To date, she’s illustrated nine books and counting. When she’s not working on a book, Eileen enjoys creating artwork inspired by her imagination and the neighborhoods around her. Having grown up in Cleveland Heights, she returned with her family in tow almost a decade ago, and is once again proud to call Cleveland Heights, “Home.”
