Tricia Kaman

Tricia Kaman is a traditionally-trained artist and instructor specializing in portrait and figurative paintings. Her oil and pastel work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and has garnered numerous awards, including the Ohio Arts Council’s 2023 Individual Artist Governor’s Award and the Cincinnati Art Design Consultants’ 2021 Realist Artist of the Year Award. Her paintings have been featured in a variety of publications, and one of her figurative grisailles, “Study from Behind,” was acquired by the Museum of Northeast Ohio Art for their permanent collection.

Tricia received her formal education from Cleveland’s Cooper School of Art, the Cleveland Institute of Art, and the Art Students League of New York, and she continues her studies at Studio Incamminati in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Tricia Kaman Studio/Gallery is located within the Murray Hill Schoolhouse in Cleveland’s Historic Little Italy. It is here that she continues her artistic journey and hosts workshops for aspiring artists in the area.
