Reverse Glass Painting (Acrylic)
Reverse Glass Painting is a highly regarded art form with so many varieties. Reverse glass painting is where an image is painted onto the glass to be viewed from the other side. It originated as a technique used for religious works in medieval Europe which then spread to Asia via trade routes. It was introduced to Japan as an import from China during the Edo Period (1603-1868). In German it is known as Hinterglasmalerei. This technique inspired Lori Pastor due to its luminous and rich quality. Her signature paintings are universal cat faces amongst many other subjects she is inspired to paint. She has also explored painting on vintage windows of all sizes.

Jewelry
I am inspired by vintage components and weaving in a modern quality into each piece of jewelry. A lot of the stamped bass vintage pieces are hand tinted giving each piece a life of it own. A variety of metals are used including:copper, brass, and stainless steel. Some are even embellished with rhinestones. When sifting through my beads, chain and findings, my mind starts working like I’m solving a puzzle. I relish in putting all of the parts and pieces together creating something exceptional for someone to adorn.
