I work in a variety of mediums: pastels, oils, watercolors and charcoal, and a variety of subject matter, portraits, landscapes and still lifes.

My business, Susan Porges Studio in Solon, Ohio (formerly The Art Studio in Beachwood) is where I teach Pastels, Oils, Watercolors, Portraiture and Plein Air Painting. I also teach at local art schools,art organizations, and overseas Plein Air Workshops.

I am a Juried Member of IAPS (International Assoc. of Pastel Societies), where I was awarded my Master Pastelist designation in 2022, the Pastel Society of America, the Oil Painters of America, the Portrait Society of America and the Ohio Pastel Artist’s League. I have earned many National Awards for my work and am published by Northlight Books: Strokes of Genius, Richeson Art Books, Pastel Magazine, and Artist’s Magazine: The Best of Drawing. I am represented by Heights Arts in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Stella’s Art Gallery in Mentor, Ohio and ketubah.com in Toronto.
