Brian Sarama

Brian Sarama graduated from The Cleveland Institute of Art with his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Ceramics and Raw materials in 2009. During his education he participated in a number of exhibitions including, but not limited to: NCECA 30 years of C.I.A. Alumni Exhibition at Borelli Gallery, Pittsburgh, PA and Art Helping Animals at MOCA, Cleveland, Ohio. He is the winner of the 2009 NICHE student award, a nationwide competition in the area of functional ceramics. He later perused his Masters of Fine Art and graduated from Kent State University in 2012 and had an exhibition of his graduate work, entitled Daydreams in Cleveland, Ohio and will have work featured in the upcoming Lark publication, 500 Prints on Clay. He is now Adjunct Faculty at The University of Akron’s Myers School of Art while continuing his professional career.
