Guangsheng (Jerry) Wang

Guangsheng (Jerry) Wang, from Tianjin, China. He taught the Chinese traditional instrument, Erhu, at the Tianjin Conservatory of Music for over 25 years. Painting has always been his second passion. His art works have been published in the Tianjin Daily Newspaper and the Tianjin People’s Fine Arts Publishing House Magazine. Wang has been invited to present art classes at the Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland State University, John Carroll University, Montessori High School, and Hudson Public Library. He has participated Lakewood Arts Festival, 78th Street Studio, Rocky River Art Show, Shaker Square ArtFest and Hessler Street Fair. Wang was awarded twice Frist Prize at Tremont Art Festival. He will be featured as Artist of the Month in April 2021 Heights Arts Gallery. He loves to teach the history and the technique of Chinese traditional watercolor, the age of his students range from elementary school students to adults.
