I am interested in exploring the psychic fossils of popular culture and media exposure. Part of how I do this is by drawing inspiration thematically and stylistically from a broad range of sources. Video games, board games, cartoons, comics, graffiti, nature, and the human condition are used as starting points to create work that is bizarre and familiar. By depositing these fossils of shared experience in my work, I am inviting you to excavate the images I have created and your own experience of these sources simultaneously. Ultimately, I am trying to create joyful, colorful, and imaginative work that tries to make people smile.
