Things That Fly, Opening Reception
Thursday, April 21 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Things That Fly showcases seven Northeast Ohio artists whose works examine the concept of flight—from literal interpretation to fantastic, structural articulation, and even the reinvention of natural histories.
Curated by Sharon Grossman, artist and founding Heights Arts board member, the exhibition includes drawing, painting, photography, mixed media, and ceramic sculpture. Represented: Stephanie Craig, Maggie Denk-Leigh, Lori Kella, Peter Larson, Lynn Norwood Lofton, Lynn O’Brien and Christopher Owen Smith.
Join us for an opening reception and opportunity to meet the artists from 6:00 to 9:00 on Thursday, April 21 . Works will be on view through June 3, 2016.
Note special opening date: Things That Fly opens one day earlier than our traditional Friday exhibition openings, in consideration of our visitors who celebrate Passover.
