Kristen Cliffel is a ceramic sculptor living and working in Cleveland, Ohio. Her studio practice is centered around themes of domesticity and intimate emotional relationships. She graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 1990 with a BFA in Ceramics. Kristen has received several prestigious awards such as The Cleveland Arts Prize, a Creative Workforce Fellowship and several Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Awards. Kristen’s work is included in many public and private collections across the country.
