Deborah French

Deborah French earned a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Akron and studied papermaking at the Glassell School of Art in Houston and Paper Press Studio in Chicago. Her current work centers on monoprint-based collages, sculptural wood scrap houses made from reclaimed frame pieces, and one-of-a-kind art cards. Working with found and repurposed materials, she creates layered works that move between two- and three-dimensional forms. Her work has been exhibited at The Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory and Educational Foundation and the Artists Archives of the Western Reserve, and has been featured in What Women Create and Where Women Create magazines. She is a member of the Ohio Collage Society.
