Jean Wendland-Porter

Jean Wendland Porter is a professional artist and has shown at various galleries, often with proceeds going to those who have been impacted negatively sociologically or economically.
After working with COVID patients in 2020-2021 Jean found working in pen and ink to be therapeutic and helped her regain focus in her work and her art.
Jean is also a Licensed Physical Therapist since 1977.
Jean volunteers with various committees in Northeast Ohio as a screener for the Cleveland International Film Festival, and as a volunteer for the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival. Jean has been a featured speaker for area agencies and facilities in addressing the needs of LGBTQI+ geriatric patients and how healthcare needs change in marginalized patient populations. She has written about her experiences working with the marginalized population in McKnight’s.
