Katerina Lapyhina is a Belarusian-born visual artist, photographer, educator, and author based in Cleveland, Ohio. Her artistic practice is rooted in a European visual sensibility and explores light, shadow, solitude, architecture, nature, and the quiet poetry of everyday life. Working primarily in black-and-white photography as well as painting, she is drawn to timeless imagery and the emotional atmosphere of seemingly ordinary moments. Lapyhina is also the author and creator of bilingual educational and activity books for children, bringing together her interests in language, visual storytelling, and cross-cultural communication. Her work has been exhibited in Northeast Ohio, and her books are available through independent bookstores in the Cleveland area.
