The subjects of my paintings are grounded in who and what I love about my life. Whether I paint a landscape or a portrait, I don’t feel like I have to replicate the image, because I see with more than my eyes. As I behold my world through tunnel vision, I sculpt with thick color or create translucent, atmospheric impressions to convey a spiritual presence that celebrates my subjects.

I have learned much through classes at Fairmount Center for the Arts, The Cleveland Museum of Art, The Cleveland Institute of Art, Valley Arts and The Cleveland Botanical Gardens. I have also exhibited my work at Mayfield on the Greens, Mayfield Community Center, Fairmount Center for the Arts, Valley Arts, Heights Arts, Artful, The Artists’ Archives of the Western Reserve, Judson Park, The Cleveland Botanical Gardens, and at the Feinberg Gallery at Cain Park. I hope you enjoy viewing four of my latest paintings.
