Michael Romanik

Michael Romanik studied Drawing and Printmaking at CIA, and enjoyed a brief experience with Enameling, which he explored further after graduation. He is self-taught in many of the techniques that he uses to create his work, especially in his metal work of silver and gold. He is now a full-time Enamelist with a regional and national reputation. Michael’s work is influenced and inspired by the objects and images of ancient cultures as well as nature. He enjoys the intimate scale of jewelry and the personal manner in which it interacts with those who wear it. He is a 2011 Creative Workforce Fellow.
