As a 12 year old, growing up in Cleveland, I was granted a 4 year scholarship to The Cleveland Institute of Art on a ”Gifted Children’s Program. It was the start of a lifetime of creating art, studying art and teaching art. My exhibition record is extensive beginning in The Cleveland Museum’s May Show and 14 years later ending with The Best in Show award in 1982. In the 85 year history of the May Show, only 5 WOMEN received Best in Show in the painting category! My exhibition venues have been in Cleveland, Ohio, Akron, China, New York, Chicago and Washington, DC. My career remains active with several exhibitions scheduled for 2024.
