The Amici Quartet performs Beethoven’s Late Quartets.  In these works, a deaf and dying Beethoven sneers at traditional musical forms by breaking all their rules, paving the way for music of the 20th Century.

The Amici Quartet includes four spectacularly accomplished members of The Cleveland Orchestra (Takako Masame – violin, Miho Hashizume – violin, Lynn Ramsey – viola, and Ralph Curry – cello) that have performed together for over 25 years.
