exhibitions overview

Heights Arts is dedicated to providing exhibition, performance, and audience expansion opportunities to local and regional artists working in any media, and from diverse creative fields, through its two gallery spaces.

EXHIBITIONS

Heights Arts presents five group exhibitions each year in its large gallery space, as well as six solo exhibitions of its Working Artist-Members in the intimate, 100 square foot spotlight gallery. Artists and curators are given additional opportunities to discuss art on view in its group exhibitions through EKPHRASTACY, a cross-pollinating public program that brings together visual artists and  local poetry communities.

EXHIBITION OPPORTUNITIES FOR ARTISTS

Heights Arts invites Northeast Ohio artists and curators to submit proposals for exhibitions in the main gallery. They are reviewed on a bi-monthly basis by our volunteer-led Exhibitions Committee, comprised of regional artists, museum personnel, and arts educators. Curatorial ideas and exhibition themes frequently arise from submissions received. Interested in having your work included in our gallery shop? Click here for submission guidelines.

WORKING ARTIST MEMBERSHIP

Heights Arts  Working Artist Membership Program provides exciting new benefits to our artist members, including opportunities to be selected for solo exhibitions in the spotlight gallery.
