As a multi disciplined artist, I have enjoyed tapping into my past experiences to explore, create and share my designs and skills with the public, from drawing, painting, fine wood working and fiber work. I’m drawn to incorporate serenity, peacefulness and simplicity in my pieces so they may become timeless and contemporary for others to enjoy. As an adolescent, I observed my parents creative processes and saw the joy that they experienced in their creations. My father taught me principles and studio skills of graphic design and the use of hand and power tools, and my mother the basics of sewing and fashion. Together, I’ve honed those skills and many others to create a diverse line of fleece outer ware, waxed canvas and leather bags and elegant wooden serving boards that have pleased patrons around the world.
