Sterling and fine silver pieces created from precious metal clay are the focal points of Shaker Heights artist Sandra Curry’s jewelry designs. Every piece is hand-sculpted.  Gold is applied through an ancient Korean process called Keum-Boo.

“My designs tend to be contemporary and minimalist in nature,” notes Sandra. They reflect an exploration of contrasting elements, such as metal type (gold vs. silver), patina (bright vs. oxidized), and shape (curved vs. linear). Only quality gemstones and precious metal chains are used.  A clinical psychologist by day, with a background in ceramics, she has been designing jewelry for over 15 years. Her work has been displayed at numerous Northeast Ohio art festivals and galleries.
