As an artist, art teacher, and docent (Cleveland Museum of Art) I take great joy in sharing the wonder of glass. Each piece of my Contemporary, bold, brilliantly colored, luminous, one-of-a-kind fused glass jewelry allows creative possibilities for the wearer. From multi-hued bolos and bold vivid landscapes in glass, I have created pendants, earrings, and brooches that inspire inspection and awe. Over the years I have developed my own style while basing my work on the history of art. Some pieces get their inspiration from the Colored Field artists like Mark Rothko, Minimalist artists like Ellsworth Kelly, Asian art, and landscape artists. I am honored that my artistic expression allows each wearer to express their own individuality and mood…I am proud to be part of that collaboration. As of August 2021, I have added wall art to my collection. Again, my work is influenced by the art I see when visiting museums, but this time in a larger scope. You will still see my love of color, shape, luminosity, layering, and texture in my newly designed fused glass collages.
