Doug Meyer

Cabinets, shelves, desks, and other items destined for the scrapyard are cut up for their useful parts and then patched together in a process I call “segmenting”. The segmented panels are stretched across my frameworks; made with hand-pulled bends and similarly segmented material in a way that allows me to use 98% of my materials. The result is a holistic aesthetic which transmits the beauty of recycling, efficiency, and collective strength.
