Cathy’s passion is to create jewelry that brings people joy. Her original designs explore line and surface texture using various materials including silver metal clay, sterling silver wire, and etched, stamped, or formed copper. Earring design is her favorite way to share this passion. Some of her newer work is inspired by the practice of meditative drawing within a circle, or mandala.

A native of Cleveland, Cathy has lived most of her life in the Heights area. She has been creating jewelry for more than 35 years and regularly teaches classes and workshops in jewelry making. Cathy has written several magazine articles and an instructional book. Her work has been included in many books and other publications.
