Serendipity and a little time on my hands gave birth to an interest in box construction. Primarily self-taught, I have taken a handful of classes from acclaimed box, paper, and book artists Steve Pittlekow, Betsy Begue, Randi Parkhurst, and Barbara Mauriello to help refine and learn new techniques. Handmade and artisan papers from across the globe have become my addiction and have been inexplicably multiplying in my studio. Vintage, antique, and new beads, buttons, pins, earrings and buckles, are also collecting, waiting for the right box to adorn. Each box is one-of-a-kind and designed to either hold a treasure or decorate a shelf or table top. Boxes can be customized to honor a special occasion or gift.
