Architectural photography is the focal point of my work. While many of my subjects are well covered, I try for angles and perspectives that are not common. Other than cropping, I do little to alter the images other than some tweaking of the colors. For cityscape images, I often try to layer the buildings, showcasing the contrasts in styles. For my black and white images, Margaret Bourke-White and O. Winston Link have been my inspirations. Edward Hopper has been an inspiration for many of my cityscape photos, while Richard Estes has influenced my fondness for photos of reflections of the city in display windows. I would like to be able to volunteer to assist in the shop, but it is hard for me to commit right now owing to my father’s health.
