Susan Skove

Susan Bodenger Skove, a Cleveland native, taught at the Cooper School of Art, and has been painting on silk for 20 years. Museum stores, boutiques, and galleries carry her line of scarves. She has wall pieces in churches and private collections, including Parker Hannifin, Roetzel & Andress, Laurel School, and Adamson University. (She is also one of Amazon’s exclusive accessory merchants.)

Susan stretches white silk before applying layers of dye with brushes and articulating design areas with resist. When complete, the piece is steamed to make the colors permanent. Scarves may be hand washed or dry-cleaned.
