Paula Zinsmeister

Paula has been exhibiting her art in Northeast Ohio and the Columbus area for many years. She has been accepted into numerous juried shows and exhibited in galleries as a part of a two-person or group show. She has also exhibited as a solo artist. Her work has been purchased for the collection of the Cleveland Art Association, Shaker Heights Library, University Hospitals, and physician offices as well as other private collections. Nationally, her art is represented by Sue Oehme of Oehme Graphics in Riverboat Springs, Colorado. Paula is currently self-employed as a Vocational Expert for Social Security Disability. She minored in art while attending Ohio University and Cleveland State University. Paula attended the Cleveland Institute of Art both as a day and evening student. She has attended workshops in New York at the Women’s Studio Workshop and Zea Mays Printmaking in Massachusetts. Locally, Paula attended classes in printmaking at Zygote Press where she continues to be a member. Her skills in paper making and eco-dyeing were learned at the Morgan Art of Paper making Conservatory. She states that she enjoys seeking new techniques and information to incorporate into her artwork. She anticipates that this will be a life-long process.
