Heights Arts participates in Play Me, I’m Yours, an international street piano project made possible locally by a collaboration between the Cleveland International Piano Competition and Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). Over 20 pianos will be placed at a variety of cultural institutions in Cleveland, the majority in the University Circle area for passers-by to play and enjoy.  Heights Arts’ piano was named “Close Encounters,” a nod to our chamber music concert series of the same name.  Artist and staff member Andrea Joki designed the piano’s decorative finish and was joined in the painting by friends of Heights Arts.
