Hear work by Darius Milhaud and Claude Debussy performed by members of the Cleveland Orchestra and other elite performers. Curated by Cleveland Orchestra cellist Dane Johansen, Close Encounters performances are held in unique venues and local residences, where the audience hears the music as it was meant to be heard – up close and personal. This performance will be at a private residence.

Close Encounters is Heights Arts’ signature Sunday afternoon chamber music series, and the fifth concert in this season's series features performers Charles Carleton, bass, Frank Rosenwein, oboe, and the Omni Quartet: Amy Lee, violin, Alicia Koelz, violin, Joanna Patterson Zakany, viola, and Tanya Ell, cello.

Claude Debussy (1862-1918): String Quartet in G minor, Op. 10 (completed 1893)
Darius Milhaud (1892-1974): The Dreams of Jacob, Dance Suite for oboe, violin, viola, cello and double bass, Op. 294 (1949)
