One of Nathan-Paul’s goals is for audiences to escape day-to-day reality into his music. In an article by cleveland.com preceding a performance by Davis, he shared, “Always new, always unexpected. This is an experience more so than a show. A secular church, I guess you could say, a gathering. These shows are to heal people mentally and physically. Give the community something out of the norm. For a second, we can depart from the script that’s been handed to us.”
Andru Dennis is a local Northeast Ohio pianist and composer who performs regularly around NE Ohio with various local musicians and groups of a variety of genres. He studied with great Cleveland educators including previous ARTbar performer Jackie Warren and other great names like Joe Hunter, Ernie Krivda, Dave Sterner, Demetrius Steinmetz and Steve Enos. He also teaches private piano, travels with, and accompanies local high school vocal jazz choirs, which takes him all over the Midwest.
