Danté Rodriguez

Danté Rodriguez is a Cleveland-based artist, muralist, and museum professional whose work bridges fine art and community engagement. He has been with The Cleveland Museum of Art since 2000, beginning his career as a museum guard before advancing through roles as an art handler, mountmaker, and now serving as Outreach Manager for the CMA’s Community Arts Center.
Rodriguez earned his Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts with a concentration in drawing from Cleveland State University in 2003. Deeply committed to fostering creativity and cultural connection, he has participated in community arts events such as Cleveland’s Día de los Muertos celebration, the Cleveland Museum of Art’s Parade the Circle, and the Chalk Festival. His artwork has been exhibited in numerous shows across the greater Cleveland area, as well as in Pittsburgh, PA; Beverly, MA; Columbus, OH; and Sandusky, OH. He was a founding partner of Wall Eye Gallery (2009–2011) in Cleveland and has served on the board of the Museum of Hispanic and Latino Cultures (2015-2016) in Lorain, OH.
His work is held in several private collections and includes an installation at Berkman Hall at Cleveland State University, as well as two public murals in Cleveland.
