Emerged and Frank Hadzima Opening Reception

Join Heights Arts as we re-invite four Emergent artists to revisit our gallery in Emerged, celebrating Heights Arts' 25th Anniversary. The Spotlight gallery will feature Frank Hadzima's oil paintings, which display the human figure in bizarre and humorous situations.

Four artists working in four different mediums, previously featured in our Emerging Artist series return to reflect on their personal growth and development as artists over the years.

In the Spotlight Gallery, Frank Hadzima presents a collection of oil paintings focused on the human figure in bizarre and humorous situations. These uncomfortable scenes reference the internet and spur-of-the-moment snapshots, aiming to challenge the viewer's perception of beauty by depicting awkward situations that don’t typically seem worth documenting.

Both exhibitions will be on view at Heights Arts through March 9, 2025.
