Just as my visiting grandson tried to capture lightening bugs and their magnificent sparking energy, I try to capture the energy that surrounds us and is in all things, animate and inanimate. Using color and line and mark making, I abstract what can be seen (or imagined) in my search for what is unseen – but felt and understood.
